Diana Gurtskaya was born on July 2, 1978 in Sukhumi, Georgia. Diana is a blind Georgian singer residing in Moscow, Russia. Diana has a variety of awards to her credit. Among them is a Russian Honorable Artist award given to her by president Vladimir Putin, she also got a Medal of Honor given to her by Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili. Gurtskaya is married to a sighted lawyer in Moscow Pyotr Kucherenko, and they have one son, Konstantin.
