Ilona Bronevitskaya was born on February 17, 1961 in Leningrad's famous pop singer Edith Piekha and founder of the ensemble of "Friendship" the composer Aleksandr Bronevitskiy. Studied at the Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography in a pop drama department faculty. After graduating, she worked in the theater "Buff", and in 1986-1988 sang in a group Edita Piekha. In 1989 she gave her first solo concert in Irkutsk, and in 1995 released her first solo album, "Dance for breakfast". Ilona Bronevitskaya received popularity participating as the lead in the program "Share the Ring".

In 1988 Bronevitskaya won the All-Union Competition of Yalta in 1988, received the third prize, and then started its concert activity.

Her son Stas Piekha was a contestant of a popular talent show “Star Factory” and later gained fame and acknowledgement for his vocals.
