Vita Semerenko was born 18 January 1986 in Sumy Oblast. A student of Sumy State Pedagogical University. Vita is a member of the national team of Ukraine and bronze medalist in the Biathlon World, winner of European Championship Junior silver medalist of world championships for girls, bronze and silver medalist at the World Junior Championships and repeated champion of Ukraine Championships, at the XXIII World Winter Universiade has won four medals (1 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze).

She represented Ukraine at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. April 16, 2011 - winner of the competition for the prize of the memory of Vitaly Fatyanova in Kamchatka, where she became a happy owner of a cup of Gazprom and the car Mercedes. In 2012 at the World Championships in Ruhpolding, Vita Semerenko won second in career personal bronze medal in the sprint.
